A new mixed-use project on the way in Southlake will include office and retail space.
Called District 114, the four-story building is under construction north of State Highway 114 between Cherry Lane and North Kimball Avenue.
Medici Development Partners is building the 94,990-square-foot project, which is part of the Kimball Park mixed-use development.
JLL Capital Markets arranged construction financing for the new development with Happy State Bank & Trust.
District 114 will have 25,112 square feet of retail space on the lower floor and upper levels for offices. There is a garage with than 320 parking spaces and a fourth-floor outdoor space for tenants.
Dallas architect BOKA Powell designed the project. Ridgemont Commercial Construction is the general contractor.
The surrounding Kimball Park includes a Cambria Hotel and an adjacent public park.
Southlake’s city council approved the project last year.
Medici Development Partners is based in Southlake and is building the Kimball Park project. The real estate firm has worked on other properties in Southlake and Coppell.
JLL Capital Markets’ De’On Collins and Steve Heldenfels arranged the construction funding for District 114.
