The northwest corner of State Highway 114 and Kimball Avenue is getting a makeover in a big way. What was once the site of a large MESCO metal fabrication facility since the 1950s will soon be home to the city’s newest mixed-use commercial development: One of the largest components of Kimball Park is the four-story, 115,000-square-foot, Class A office complex, known as The Offices at Kimball Park, which kicked-off with a groundbreaking ceremony July 18. The $25.5 million building is expected to be completed April 2017.

“I had been looking for property in Southlake and knew there was a need for Class A office space. When I found this property, I said ‘That’s where I’m going to build my hotel and office building,’” said Medici during the ceremony, referring to the site as the gateway to Southlake. “The Southlake City Council and staff have been amazing to work with, and have helped me to turn this property into a first-rate development.”

“This piece of property is a Cinderella story with a happy ending,” commented Hill. “Keller Williams has been an incredible neighbor and made such a significant investment in this community. Congratulations to all who will call this new building home.”

The Offices at Kimball Park will be the second stand-alone Class A office building in Southlake, joining Granite Place at Southlake Town Square, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in December.
